Wes Ramsey to Play Eric Brady

The additon of Wes Ramsey to the Days cast isn’t exactly breaking news. But it seems almost certain that he will be playing the part of Eric Brady — twin to Sami. Critics are already complaining that the two don’t look anything alike. People, this is a soap. There are no rules.

The real question is what are they going to do with him. I’m still trying to figure out why they brought Brady back. His story line doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Mia still needs a father for her baby. The list of men in Salem with no good story line is growing quickly — Max, Roman, Brady, Daniel (sort of).

Look for his debut in early April.

I was looking through the his IMDB boards/message things and I came across an interesting article.

Louisville actor lands role on 'Days of Our Lives'

Louisville native Wes Ramsey has joined the cast of NBC's soap opera "Days of Our Lives," according to Soap Opera Digest.

"Days" producers are keeping hushed on who Ramsey will be playing on the daytime show. Soap message boards are buzzing about the possibility of Ramsey taking on the re-cast of Eric Brady, the twin brother of popular character Sami Brady (played by Alison Sweeney). The character of Eric Brady has been off the canvas since 2000. He was last portrayed by Jensen Ackles.

Ramsey was born in Louisville and began acting at Walden Theater. Ramsey has appeared in "Charmed," "The Guiding Light," and the independent film "Latter Days."

Ramsey's first "Days of Our Lives" airdate has yet to be announced.

Just a quick heads up that Wes is on CSI: Miami right now. I just caught a brief glimpse of him but he's playing someone in the lab. It's weird he's already played a seriously creepy killer on the show now it looks like he's playing a character on the same show where he helps catch the killer. lol By the way I don't know if he'll be on anymore of this episode.

Just checked his imdb page and they have it listed.

According to Amazon.com you can pre-order Dracula's Guest starring Wes.  I checked it out on Amazon.com and it looks legitimate.  According to the site it should be released on DVD August 5th.
